(Spencer)– A traffic stop earlier this month in Clay county resulted in the arrests of two men on drug charges. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy conducted the stop a little before 12:30 am December 16th in the 3000 mile of Highway 71. The deputy reported smelling marijuana coming from the vehicle as he made contact with the occupants.
23-year-old Cameron Reich of Spencer was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…3rd offense and 28-year-old Devin Mitchell of Emmetsburg was charged with possession of a controlled substance…1st offense.
Both were booked into jail and have since been released on bond.
