(Orange City)– An Alvord man has been arrested in connection with a deadly crash that happened back on July 30th of this year in Sioux county.
Authorities say 21-year-old Kaleb DeBey was driving a vehicle on a Sioux county road when he failed to make a curve. The vehicle went into the ditch, hit a culvert and became airborne. A passenger, Haley Bliek of Rock Valley, was killed in the crash.
DeBey was arrested Friday as the result of an ongoing investigation into the crash. He was charged with homicide by vehicle, operating while intoxicated and reckless driving. DeBey was booked into the Sioux county jail.
