(Milford)-It’s the Holiday Fantasy in Milford on Saturday. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Milford Commercial Club will present the Milford Holiday Fantasy on Saturday.
Vice President Brock Holman says things get underway Saturday morning with the Festival of Trees. “Businesses and individuals have been able to decorate trees at the Milford Memorial Library so the public will be able to vote on those Saturday morning. Santa will be there to visit with the children, as well. Crafts and activities will be happening at the library, too.”
He adds that festivities include the parade, free movies and the soup and chili feed. “There is so much and we’re so excited to be able to celebrate the holidays with the community. WE have the parade kicking off at 11 am and it’ll start at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford and head south. Be ready to celebrate, get some candy, see Santa and enjoy the parade. We have 3 showings of the movie Elf at The Milford Pioneer Theater, and of course, our annual soup and chili Feed at the Milford Community Center, and that starts at 11:30. You are able to purchase raffle tickets at the door, and then the raffle drawing for great prizes will be at 12:30 pm and that’s also at The Community Center.”
