(Spencer)– Authorities in Clay county say multiple charges are pending against a Sioux Rapids man who was injured earlier this month in a fiery crash.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Jose Ramon-Arrendondo was driving a 2008 Chrysler when he lost control of the vehicle in the 4900 mile of 220th Avenue near Sioux Rapids. The vehicle went into the ditch and started on fire.
Ramon-Arrendondo was taken by private vehicle to Spencer Hospital for treatment of burns to his hands.
Deputies say several containers of alcohol were found in the vehicle.
