(Boyden)– A toddler died earlier this week after being struck by a tree that was being cut down at a farm about a mile and-a-half southwest of Boyden.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says two-year-old Nathan Klok was in a grove where family members were cutting down trees. Authorities say Klok was struck by one of the trees as it was coming down. Klok sustained severe trauma and died as a result.
Authorities say the mishap took place a little before 5:00 pm Monday.
