(Sibley)– One person was taken to the hospital when a semi and a jeep collided Monday at an intersection just south of Sibley.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Xiangyu Jia of San Gabriel, California was driving a 2019 International semi eastbound and 74-year-old Joy Hall Villareal of Sibley was driving a 2016 Jeep northbound when the two collided.
Hall Villareal was taken by ambulance to Osceola Regional Heath Center.
Deputies say the collision remains under investigation. It took place around 11:45 am Monday.
