(Spencer)– A Spencer man was arrested on weapons and drug charges during a traffic stop this past Sunday in Clay county.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the driver, 19-year-old Aiden Chaffin of Spencer, was allegedly found to be in possession of tobacco products under the legal age. He was also allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a sawed off shotgun.
Chaffin was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, minor in possession of tobacco, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana and possession of an offensive weapon.
He has since been released from jail after posting a $5,000 bond.
