People For Pets To Hold Major Fundraising Event

(Spencer)– A major fundraising event for People for Pets in Spencer is coming up this Saturday, November 11th at 5:30 pm at Occasions at 104 East 4th Street in Spencer…

“It’s bound to be a fun event. We’ve got The Polka Police as the band. They’ve played in the past and have always been enjoyed. We have a great meal planned with appetizers, a bar, of course, and we’ve had so many generous donors this year with some really great silent auction items, live auction items, it’s just going to be a whole fun event.”

The meal will consist of two drinks, appetizers, brats, sides and desserts. Tickets are $40 each with all of the proceeds going toward the operations of the shelter at People For Pets…

“We don’t have a lot of fundraisers because, you know, our volunteer base and our staff isn’t that big, so this is our big one, this how we support the shelter for the year.”

Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting People For Pets and will also be available at the door.
