(Terril)– Pro Cooperative is undergoing a major expansion in Terril. The company is constructing a seed and chemical warehouse with liquid fertilizer mixing and a new office location. The facility will also have three load-out bays including one that will be in operation 24 hours a day. Pro Cooperative’s VP of Operations, Tony Hanson, says the upgrade will offer more storage for agronomy products and that they will be able to mix liquid fertilizer in minutes, along with treating and selling seed in bulk quantities.
The project also includes a new grain scale and probe along with a one and-a-half million gallon liquid urea ammonium nitrate tank.
Plans call for the seed and liquid fertilizer warehouse to be completed by this coming spring, with the new office, scale and probe completed by the fall of 2024.
Pro Cooperative supplies agronomy, feed, grain and energy products. The company has customers in 12 counties in northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota.
