October 30, 2023 Steve Schwaller

(Mankato, Mn.)– Two people from Spirit Lake were injured in an accident Saturday in southern Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 52-year-old Christopher Pratt of Spirit Lake was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe southbound on Highway 169 in Le Sueur county. Troopers say Pratt lost control of the vehicle on the snow and ice covered road and collided with a concrete barrier.

Pratt and a passenger, 49-year-old Beverly Pratt of Spirit Lake, were both taken to a Mankato hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
