(Spencer)– Multiple charges have been filed against a Spencer man following an incident Sunday.
Spencer police say they were called a little before 4:00 pm to a residence in Spencer after getting a report that a family member had been assaulted. Officers arrived on the scene and upon investigating arrested 29-year-old Challer Wadsley, who is also accused of using a chainsaw to further intimidate the victim.
As police were attempting to take Wadsley into custody, they say he became combative. Officers then deployed a taser. He was then arrested and charged with domestic abuse assault impeding airflow, intimidation with a dangerous weapon and interference with official acts. Wadsley was booked into the Clay county jail where he’s being held on a $25,300 bond.
