(Sheldon)– There’s been another incident in O’Brien county in which a grain auger snagged some power lines. The latest one took place this past Friday near Sheldon. The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says the driver of a feed truck forgot to stow the auger, striking power lines at two different locations knocking out electricity to those areas.
Damage to the power lines and a yard light was estimated at $4,700.
No injuries were reported.
