(Sherburn, Mn.)– The first in a series of public informational meetings into proposed facility improvements in the Martin County West Community School District will be held Thursday evening at 6:00 pm at Triumph Hall in Trimont.
Voters in that district head to the polls November 7th to decide the fate of a $63 million bond issue for a new building housing preschool through 12th grades and another issue of $9 million for a 400 seat auditorium and additional gym for the new school. Informational meetings are also scheduled for 6:00 pm Monday, October 16th at the Sherburn Elementary School; Tuesday, October 24th at 5:30 pm at the Welcome American Legion and Monday, October 30th at 6:30 pm at the Dunnell Community Hall. A virtual meeting will also be held Wednesday, October 11th at 12 Noon. Information on how to log in for that will be available on the district’s website or by calling the central office.
Early voting on the measures is underway now up until election day at the Central Office at the Martin County West Elementary building in Sherburn.
