(Estherville)– Iowa Lakes Community College has a new Dean of Career and Technical Education and Workforce. Jeffrey Soole has been hired to the position. He previously was a powerline instructor at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, a position he held since 2020. He holds a Journeyman lineman certificate endorsed by the Department of Labor, the State of Nevada and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He also has backgrounds in motorcycle mechanics and in the hospitality industry.
In his new position with Iowa Lakes Community College, Soole will develop collaborations between the college and local businesses to create a workforce that meets the needs of demands of the regional economy.
