(Undated)– Some big changes lie ahead in our weather for the upcoming week. Our fall heatwave will continue another couple of days but forecasters say it will come to a crashing halt about the middle of the week. They say a strong cold front will make its way into the region late in the day Tuesday into Tuesday night bringing rain with it. Behind the front, temperatures will drop considerably with highs by Friday only in the upper 40’s and low 50’s.
The National Weather Service says we may experience our first widespread frost of the season overnight Friday into early Saturday, with overnight lows dropping into the low 30’s. Temperatures will rebound over the upcoming weekend with 50’s and 60’s for highs.
