(Estherville)-A popular concert series will return Tuesday evening at Iowa Lakes Community College. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Iowa Lakes Community College Music Department will host A Night at The P.A.C. on Tuesday night.
Instrumental Music Professor Carol Ayres says, the casual concert will feature a variety of performers. “Well, our P.A.C. is our Performing Arts Center here on The Iowa Lakes Community College Estherville Campus, and it’s our beautiful new facility, and it’s just a night where students can sing solos or duets or small groups. We’ve got some ensembles performing. The Men’s Ensemble is going to sing and The Hand bells are going to play and The Jazz Band is going to play. So, it’s going to be a fun night of a whole variety of music, and it’s very relaxed, informal and the students choose their music and we play some more popular pieces and yeah, it’s just a fun night.”
A Night at The P.A.C. will start at 6:30 Tuesday evening and is free and open to the public at The Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center in Estherville.
