Arnolds Park City Council Asked To Consider A Loitering Ordinance

September 14, 2023 Steve Schwaller

(Arnolds Park)– The Police Chief in Arnolds Park says it may be time for that city to pass an ordinance to discourage loitering. Al Kruger says he’s been seeing more and more of that taking place recently…

“Yeah, we’ve been having a lot of young adults hanging out at city parking lots, city property, and cause some mischief here and there. We just want to be able to, if they are causing a kind of disturbance, to ask them to leave nicely and then we have the authority to do that.”

Kruger asked the city council Wednesday evening to put it on their radar and to perhaps consider passing an ordinance at an upcoming meeting.
