(George)– A George man faces charges in connection with a residential burglary earlier this month in George. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called a little after 4:00 am September 9th after getting a report of a man breaking into a house. Upon arriving deputies determined Frederick Buckalew Jr, Of George, had broken into one house and attempted to break into a second. He also allegedly damaged windows on multiple vehicles. The damage totaled approximately $3,700.00.
Buckalew was charged with 2 counts of Burglary 2nd, a class C Felony, 2 counts of Criminal Mischief 2nd, a class D Felony, as well as Violation of a Protection Order, a Simple Misdemeanor. Buckalew was booked into the Lyon County Jail.
