(Spencer)– The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has released information into a traffic stop earlier this month that resulted in multiple charges against a Spencer man.
Authorities say it happened back on September 4th when a deputy pulled over a vehicle for speeding. Upon approaching the vehicle the deputy reported smelling alcohol. Sobriety tests were administered to the driver, 27-year-old Edgar Meza. Meza was arrested based on the results of the tests and was booked into jail on charges of operating while intoxicated…2nd offense and two counts of child endangerment. He was also cited for dark windows and speeding, 97 mph in a 55 mph zone.
