(Spencer)– The 2023 Clay County Fair powered by SMU will feature more than $180,000 in free entertainment when things kick off Saturday, September 9th. Fair CEO Jerome Hertel says the acts cover the gamut…
“You know a lot of different acts. Comedy, hypnotists, polka bands, variety bands, Chicago tribute bands, a Beatles tribute band, a magic and comedy show, classic country, a tribute to Carol King, all kinds of different entertainment options on the free stages.”
That’s in addition to another full line-up of ticketed concerts and events in front of the grandstand, including a major headliner on the opening night of the fair…
“We kick off the fair on September 9th with Parmalee and Thompson Square. That’s going to be a great show and we want people to get out there and get their tickets for that because that’s just around the corner kicking off the fair on Saturday.”
