Gate Changes Made At 2022 Clay County Fair Will Remain In Effect This Year

(Spencer)– Clay County Fairgoers will notice few changes this year in the layout of the grounds. General Manager Jerome Hertel says the changes made last year at Gate C will remain this year…

“Some of the gates we changed last year, you know, gate C of course last year they changed it to just a drive in gate only, so people, pedestrians and customers entering the fair have to go down to gate A and enter the fair there. So gate C will still remain a drive in gate only, so you can’t walk through that gate but you can certainly go down and get in at gate A.”

He says like previous years, the only gate that will be accessible around the clock is Gate E on the southwest side of the grounds.

The Clay County Fair powered by SMU runs September 9th-17th.
