(Spencer)– A Clay county woman was inducted into the 2023 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame during a ceremony this past Sunday at the Iowa State Fair. Carrie Nelson was recognized for her strong support for 4-H in Clay county for more than 15 years. She currently serves on the Clay County 4-H non-livestock committee and assists with communications events and project workshops. Nelson has also served as a static project judge and is a Clay County Master Gardener. She also mans the information and help desk in the 4-H building all nine days of the Clay County Fair.
