(Spencer)– The next President of Spencer Hospital is coming from within. The hospital’s board of trustees voted this week to offer the position to Brenda Tiefenthaler, and she has formally accepted. The board then voted unanimously to appoint Tiefenthaler to the position.
She will succeed Bill Bumgarner, who will be retiring later this year.
Tiefenthaler has been with Spencer Hospital 23 years and has served previously in a number of leadership positions at the facility. She currently serves as Senior Vice President of Patient Care and Operations.
Tiefenthaler says she’s excited and is looking forward to her new duties.
