(Estherville)– Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative has a new President/CEO. Ryan Craig has been selected by the company’s board of directors to serve in that capacity. He will begin his new role September 11th.
Craig grew up on a farmstead in the Ringsted area and has extensive experience in electric and gas distribution and wind energy generation. Craig has held a number of positions with Alliant Energy, most recently as Senior Operations Manager. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 2002 until 2014 and has earned various honors and awards from both the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Air National Guard.
Craig holds an associate of arts degree in wind energy and turbine technology from Iowa Lakes Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Bellevue University in Business Management.
He and his wife have three children. They reside near Milford.
