(Estherville)– Some updates to report with ongoing road construction in Estherville.
City officials say residents along Orchard Lane and Orchard Circle should continue to cross Highway 9 to Westwood Drive over the temporary surface. Residents living along Highway 9 and customers of businesses on Highway 9 along Half Mile Hill should enter the area at Westwood Drive, or other road west of their property, and go east down the hill to their destination. Officials say if you don’t live, work or need to access a business in the work zone, to stay out of the area.
Meanwhile, there’s been some changes to the paving schedule for the Highway 4 project in Estherville. City officials say the closure of that road between Central Avenue and 5th Avenue North has been pushed back to Wednesday, August 16th. They add the previously announced paving of Highway 4 South is now scheduled to begin on or after August 18th.
