(Spencer)– Here’s a sign the Clay County Fair is drawing nearer. Fair officials say the open class livestock entry deadline is midnight on Monday, August 21st. That includes open-class beef cattle, dairy cattle, swine, sheep, rabbits and horses. Exhibitor handbooks are available at claycountyfair.com and at the Fair Administrative Offices.
Daily open-class livestock shows are a large part of the Clay County Fair with more than 500 exhibitors showing more than 2,000 head of livestock in 2022. That’s in addition to several hundred FFA and 4-H exhibitors who also show at the fair.
