(Milford)– There is now a vacant seat on the Milford City Council. Meeting in a brief special session this (Friday) afternoon, the council accepted the resignation of member Andy Yungbluth. Yungbluth is stepping down as he has moved outside of the city.
The council plans to fill the vacancy through an appointment. Two people have reportedly expressed an interest in the seat. Whoever’s appointed would serve until the November election. That person would then have the option to seek a full term.
