(Armstrong)– An Armstrong man was injured last week after being struck by a vehicle. The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old Darrell Burgess was crossing Highway 9 near South 3rd Street in Armstrong when he walked into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by 20-year-old Ethaniel Mithhun of Buffalo Center.
Burgess was taken by ambulance to a Fairmont, Minnesota hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say the mishap took place a little before 2:30 pm this past Thursday.
