(Spencer)– A disturbance Monday evening in the 4300 mile of 225th Avenue in Clay county resulted in the arrest of a Sioux Rapids teen on several charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called around 10:30 pm and encountered a vehicle that was leaving the scene. The vehicle was pulled over and it was determined the 17-year-old driver was under the influence of alcohol. Some alcohol and vape products could be seen in the vehicle.
The teen, who’s name hasn’t been released, was charged with operating while intoxicated…1st offense, possession of alcohol and possession of vape products. He was turned over to the custody of his parents.
