(Spencer)– A traffic stop this past Sunday in Clay county resulted in the arrest of a Milford man on several charges. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy could smell alcohol as he approached the vehicle. Sobriety tests were conducted resulting in the driver, 45-year-old Derek Larson of Milford, being placed under arrest. He was charged with operating while intoxicated…2nd offense; possession of a controlled substance…marijuana, speeding, and failure to display registration plates.
