(Sibley)– The 2023 Osceola County Fair gets underway Tuesday (July 18th) and runs through this Saturday (July 22nd). Fair Board President Steve Vos gives a rundown on some of the grandstand events…
“On Wednesday night we open with our Queen Contest and Little Miss Osceola Contest with a celebrity pie auction involved with that. Thursday night we have TNC Rodeo, it starts at 7:00. It’s a complete rodeo and if any local men or women want to ride a horse, a bucking bronco or a bull, they’re sure welcome to give it a try. Friday night we have the Great Plains Tractor Pull and impact pro wrestling, both starting at 7:00. Saturday is a full day of activities. We have a chainsaw carver, we have a pedal pull at 1:00, a ribbon auction at 3:00 and at 7:00 we have a figure eight and demo derby, followed by fireworks. So we have a great lineup of things going on at the fair this year.”
A dog and pet show, Ladies Night, Barbecue Cook-off, BINGO and inflatables will also be featured, along with the various livestock shows and 4-H and FFA exhibits.
