(Luverne, Mn.)– Two people were injured Friday in a freak accident on Interstate 90 near Adrian. The Minnesota State Patrol says 61-year-old Brian Connot of Sioux Falls was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado westbound when two small refrigerators fell out of the back of the pickup. Troopers say a 2020 Mercedes driven by Cassi Richardson of Lawton, Oklahoma, who was also westbound behind the pickup, then collided with the refrigerators.
Richardson and an 11-year-old child in her vehicle were taken to a Luverne hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
