(Lake Park)– We’ve learned the identity of a person who was found deceased in a house fire early Thursday in Lake Park. The victim is identified as 40-year-old Jesse Kilgore of Lake Park.
Lake Park firefighters were called to 305 East 5th Street in Lake Park around 1:00 am Thursday and found the living room of the home completely engulfed, with extensive smoke and water damage throughout. A dog also perished in the fire.
The cause is still under investigation.
It was one of two fatal house fires in Dickinson county Thursday. The other occurred just hours later on L Avenue in Milford. That fire claimed the life of a woman who’s identity hasn’t been released. The cause of that fire is also unknown as of now.
