(Sioux Falls)– We’re learning some additional details into a motorcycle crash this past weekend that claimed the life of a Spirit Lake man.
The South Dakota State Patrol says 62-year-old Randy Loerch (lurch) of Spirit Lake was operating a 2003 Harley Davidson northbound on South Dakota Highway 11 north of Corson. Troopers say a 2016 Hyundai Tucson collided with the motorcycle as Loerch was attempting to make a U-turn. Loerch was taken to a Sioux Falls Hospital where he died of his injuries.
They say the collision is still under investigation.
