(Storm Lake)– Dr. Dan Mart has taken over the position of Chief Administrator for The Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency. Dr. Mart took over the position at the beginning of this month. He has served as superintendent in multiple Iowa school districts, including Graettinger-Terril. He also previously served as PK-12 principal in the Graettinger Community School District. Dr. Mart is a Terril High School graduate. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Buena Vista University, and a Ph.D in educational leadership from Iowa State University.
Prairie Lakes AEA provides special education, school improvement, media, and technology services for students, teachers, administrators, and early childhood services. They serve 38 public school districts and 11 nonpublic schools in a 14-county area of northwest Iowa.
