(Milford)– The Milford City Council Monday gave the go-ahead for city staff to apply for a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant for the replacement of water and sanitary sewer lines along a stretch of County Road A-34, or 13th Street.
It would be part of the project to completely renovate the road in that area from Highway 71 and the west city limits of Milford. The sewer and water line part of that project has a total estimated cost of a little more than $1.3 million.
The city council approved the grant submission following a public hearing that drew no comments.
