Several NW Iowans Appointed To Various State Boards & Commissions

(Des Moines)– Governor Kim Reynolds has announced the appointments of several northwest Iowans to various boards and commissions. Stephen Richards, D.O. of Dickinson county, will serve on the Medical Cannabidiol Board; Greg Steggerda of Orange City was appointed to the Prison Industries Board; Melanie Bloom of Buena Vista county will serve on the Council on Agricultural Education; Emma Bouza of Sioux county was appointed to the Iowa Developmental Disabilities Council; and Angela Anderson of Cherokee will serve on the Iowa Public Broadcasting Board. Those appointments are not subject to Senate confirmation. Chad Janzen of Sioux county was appointed to the State Board of Medical Examiners. That appointment IS subject to Senate confirmation.
