(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake City Council heard a presentation on the Aspen Seemann Park at their meeting Tuesday evening. The city is being asked to contribute $400,000 toward the project, which has a total cost of a little more than $7 million. $4 million of that has already been gifted.
The council took the request under advisement and is expected to act on it in coming weeks.
Funding for the first phase of the project, which is now underway, is in place. The additional funds being raised will go for the second phase.
