(Spencer)– An investigation into a vehicle in a ditch Saturday in Clay county resulted in the arrest of a Dickens man on multiple charges. The Sheriff’s Office says deputies pulled over a 2004 Dodge Ram in connection with that investigation and found out the driver, 48-year-old Michael Daniels of Dickens, had a suspended driver’s license. It was also determined that Daniels was allegedly driving the vehicle that was found in the ditch earlier that day and that he was using fraudulent license plates on the Ram he was operating.
Daniels was arrested and charged with two counts of driving under suspension, failure to maintain control, fraudulent use of registration and failure to provide liability insurance.
