(Okoboji)– The Dickinson County Taxpayers Association holds its annual meeting this Friday at the Maser Monarch Lodge.
This year’s keynote speakers are Mary Mosiman, head of the Iowa Department of Revenue, and Julie Roisen, Administrator of the Local Government Division. They’ll talk about comprehensive changes to the Iowa property tax system approved in the last session of the Iowa Legislature and signed into law by Governor Kim Reynolds, as well as updates to the sales and income tax administration.
Coffee and rolls will be served at 8:30 am with the meeting to follow at 9:00 am. A question and answer session will also be held with local legislators who will also be present.
