(Okoboji)– The Iowa Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in three cases at Arrowwod Resort in Okoboji June 1st. They include a negligence lawsuit filed by a family against a nursing home in Winnebago county; a case involving claims of discrimination against the Iowa Department of Human Services filed by a former employee of the agency; and a case from Sioux county in which a man was injured while helping a farmer upright a cow in a feedlot.
The Iowa Court of Appeals holds hearings each year in the Iowa Great Lakes as part of the annual “Lawyer’s Chautauqua” event.
