(Spirit Lake)– An investigation into an incident earlier this week in Milford has landed a Spirit Lake man in the Dickinson county jail on multiple charges. 33-year-old Joshua Knutson was charged with trespassing, criminal mischief in the 5th degree, burglary in the 1st degree, going armed with intent and harassment in the 2nd degree.
According to a criminal complaint, Milford police were called around 8:30 pm Wednesday to 21 Clover Lane after getting a report of a trespasser that followed the victim to that address armed with a knife, allegedly threatening to cause bodily harm to the victim. The complaint states the victim was scared for their life.
The documents also accuse Knutson of committing a burglary in a garage at that address.
