(Spencer)– Officials with the city of Spencer are reminding motorists of some street closures: one permanent, the other is temporary.
They say the intersection of East 3rd Street and 6th Avenue East was closed Wednesday for the East Side Reconstruction and Sewer Separation Project. The intersection will be reopened once the project is complete.
The other involves a stretch of 11th Street from Grand Avenue to 2nd Avenue East, which will be closed permanently effective this coming Monday, May 1st. The closure is to accommodate a major project at Spencer Hospital that includes construction of a new Emergency Department.
