City Of Jackson Hires Its First Public Works Director

(Jackson, Mn.)– The city of Jackson has hired its first Public Works Director from within. Officials announced Tuesday Tony Oxborough has been hired to the position. Oxborough has been the city’s Water and Wastewater Superintendent since 2018. He begins his new duties as Public Works Director in just a few days…May 1st.

The city of Jackson began its search for a Public Works Director in February of this year after it was decided to consolidate the city’s Water, Wastewater, Streets, Parks and Trails system as part of a cost savings measure. Oxborough will oversee all of those operations in his role as Public Works Director.
