(Spirit Lake)– Thunderstorms that moved through the Iowa Great Lakes early this (Wed.) morning were accompanied by wind gusting well in excess of 50 mph. Dickinson County Emergency Management Coordinator Mike Ehret says there were some scattered reports of damage, including a roof torn off a mobile home in Spirit Lake and a hayshed that was reportedly destroyed about four miles west of Superior. There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
