(Emmetsburg)– Authorities in Palo Alto county are investigating an incident Tuesday after getting a complaint from a concerned resident.
The reporting party told deputies an early 2000’s red Chevrolet truck came up behind them at a high rate of speed as they were traveling south on 380th Avenue. The reporting party stated that when the truck pulled up behind them, red and blue lights were activated. The reporting party said they pulled over and a man, age 18 to 25 with facial hair exited the truck. The reporting party said the man was wearing street clothes so they left the scene.
***UPDATE: The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, in a later statement, now says that upon investigating, they’ve determined it was an “isolated incident” and that there’s no danger to the general public.
