(Estherville)– Authorities in Emmet county have released details into an April 1st traffic stop that resulted in the arrests of two Estherville women on multiple charges.
The Sheriff’s Office says a deputy made the stop a little before 11:30 pm April 1st in the 10 block of Central Avenue in Estherville for an equipment violation. A subsequent investigation turned up what’s alleged to be controlled substances, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.
21-year-old Jodeci Holmes was charged with possession of a firearm as a felon, possession of a controlled substance…2nd offense, person ineligible to carry weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia.
19-year-old Andrea McLoughlin was charged with possession of a controlled substance…2nd offense, possession of contraband in a correctional institution, persons ineligible to carry a dangerous weapon, and insufficient number of headlamps.
Homes andMcLoughlin were both booked into the Emmet county jail.
