(Little Rock)– A house fire Saturday about a half mile south of Little Rock sent one person to the hospital and claimed the life of a pet.
Firefighters were called around 10:40 pm and found the southwest corner of the home engulfed. Those who were inside managed to get out, however one person was taken to Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley. The house was destroyed in the fire. The George and Sibley Fire Departments assisted the Little Rock Fire Department in battling the blaze.
No word of a possible cause.
