(Sanborn)– There was a close call today (Thurs.) near Sanborn. Firefighters were called around 9:30 am after getting a report of a power line down and a truck on fire about a mile south of Sanborn.
Officials say a feed truck had just completed a delivery and still had its auger up when it came into contact with a power line resulting in some arcing that started the truck on fire.
The driver was able to safely exit the vehicle without being injured.
Major damage was reported to the truck.
