(Sibley)– The Sibley-Ocheyedan School District has a new 7-12 Principal, pending formal approval of the school board.
A press release says Casey Hertz has accepted the position and will begin his new duties at Sibley-Ocheyedan on August 1st, 2023. Hertz, who is currently an assistant middle school principal at Worthington. He was one of four candidates who interviewed for the position at Sibley-Ocheyedan.
Hertz will succeed Stan De Zeeuw who will be moving into the role of Superintendent at Sibley-Ocheyedan starting this coming July 1st.
Hertz is a native of Ocheyedan.
